A chef called Jamie? Never heard that one before…
We’ve recently promoted one of our amazing chefs at The Parcel Yard. Jamie Henfrey joined us a year ago at the tender age of 17 and has progressed into a fantastic chef. So fantastic, he’s developed a brand new menu to be used at the PY! He’s come a long way in a short space of time and we’re giving him the chance to use and improve our kitchen on Sunday May 1st so you can come and see what his cooking’s all about!
Jamie completed a catering course at Loughborough College, so is no stranger to the intricacies of cooking. This shines through in his bespoke menu, which will be served on the May bank holiday weekend.
Come and try his excellent starters: luscious Scallop chowder, coriander-chili chicken meatballs or feta pie. Treat yourself to the home cooked main menu – delicious chili glaze salmon steak or a high quality steak from Owen Taylor’s Butchers. Then finish off with a cracking dessert – Pavlova maybe? Or a Sundae with a choice of ice cream?
Jamie is a great example of making something of yourself at Steamin’ Billy – he’s not the first and he won’t be the last to join our amazing family. If Jamie’s story has inspired you, get in touch for all of our vacancies and offers.
