Well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar area and outside. They must be kept on leads at all times and must not sit on any furniture, even on a blanket (it’s not fair for other guests who may have allergies). As we have livestock on site, they must be kept under control at all times, you may notice our farm dogs roaming freely.

We will reduce our food miles by either sourcing direct from local ethical growers & farmers or growing as much as we can ourselves on our small holding. We have just over an acre of kitchen garden where we grow heritage varieties of salads, tomatoes, courgettes, cucumbers, numerous herbs, edible flowers and much more to supply our chefs for use on our menu. We believe in sustainable business practices and our garden allows us to use fresher ingredients while also reducing food miles, it’s the best of both.
